Hi, I'm Drialys Munoz and this is my story…
I was born in Matanzas, Cuba during the 70s. From a very young age, I loved public speaking, singing, playing the flute, dancing, and helping others. When I was 10 years old, my father had to leave the country for the United States. At that moment, my young mother, my sister, and I were left alone in a country lacking opportunities and well-being, but full of family love: the driving force to move forward.
I became the head of the household. That helped me forge a strong, determined, and persevering personality. At the age of 14, I was sent to a boarding school on a scholarship, where I had to leave my family and home. I stayed there until I was 17 years old. It was a tough childhood, marked by poverty.
After finishing school in 1994, I moved to the United States. I started studying English with great dedication. Later, I took a course in radio and broadcasting, despite the voices saying that I wouldn’t have an opportunity in radio. I was always going against the current, following my instincts. And one thing I am very sure of: perseverance surpasses talent and even thousands of opportunities. I started working at an FM radio station with a recommendation letter from my teacher, recognizing me as an honor student at that school, which was very difficult at that time. There, I had a fruitful and great career in Spanish radio.

At the age of 29, I left radio and started working full-time with my father at his clinic. There, I gained experience in health and life insurance. After a few years, I knew I wanted to grow on my own and make a name for myself in this field. I obtained licenses in 48 out of 50 states here in the United States. Today, I have over 3,000 clients across the country.
Additionally, I decided to obtain another license to formalize my service as a financial advisor. I still study every day because in this field, we need to stay up to date and always prepared.
Today, I can define myself as a persevering woman. That is the legacy I want to leave to my daughter and great love, Melany: “Don’t let anything or anyone steer you away from your dreams, weaken you with their negative comments, or take away the desire to be whatever you want to be.”
Life is like a theater play: it starts when the curtain opens, but it will have a closing, and the curtain will close forever.
